A/NES CGFX - The Nintendo Entertainment System emulator for AmigaOS
      Author: A/NES CGFX   Date Verified:
A/NES CGFX is a NES-emulator for 680x0 based Amiga-systems. It emulates the basics of a Nintendo Entertainment System (8-bit), and does it pretty well. Full speed emulation is not unusual even on slower Amigas. Except AmigaOS, it requires a 68020 processor or better, some Fast-mem and CyberGraphx V3+ (Picasso96 CyberGraphx emulation doesn't work at the moment, sorry!)

AmigaInABox, is the essential download for all UAE freaks. To be brief, it is a 'snapshot' of my current Workbench setup on UAE. This isnt just any old 'snapshot' however, the archive has been painstakingly setup for immediate use - the main zipfile extracts into its own directories, requiring just a Kickstart Rom, and the WinUAE exectuable to run (oh come on, kickstart 3.0/3.1 roms arent that hard to get hold of! Theres Cloanto's "AmigaForever" for a start! Well, with AmigaInABox (AIAB) you can kiss all these knightmares away, practically everything you could ever need is here - already pre-configured - this is an AmigaInABox.

      AMI-CPC
      Author: Ludovic Deplanque   Date Verified:
AMI-CPC is an Amstrad CPC 6128 emulator for AMIGA.AMI-CPC uses the Roms of a CPC 6128. Theses Roms are inclued in the archive. It needs also some disks image files. It recognizes the .DSK format, used by the majority of the CPC emulators. One file in .DSK format including some small tests programs is in the archive. AMI-CPC respect the OS, no direct hardware access is made. But, I'm not sure that it works on an AMIGA with a graphic card.

Welcome to amithlon.net. This is the website of the main Amithlon author. Here you will find all sorts of up-to-date news, as well as answers to hopefully all of your Amithlon questions. Amithlon is a low-level Amiga emulator for current x86 PCs. It provides very high performance CPU emulation, as well as a translation layer that lets AmigaOS use common PC hardware without the usual drawbacks of emulators. The philosophy behind the development of Amithlon was not to create an Amiga emulator that runs on top of some PC OS, but to turn a current PC into an Amiga. With Amithlon, AmigaOS is in the driver's seat, and directly controls all the hardware.

Frodo V2.4 is a multitasking freeware C64 emulator for the Amiga and DraCo computers. This emulator focuses on the exact reproduction of special graphical effects possible on the 64, and has therefore relatively high system requirements. Using a 68060-50 and a CyberVision card gives about 140-160% of the original C64 speed in standard text mode in the emulation's most precise mode and about 700% in its fastest mode.

Hopefully, the following instructions will allow your Mac emulation to use an ethernet card which doesn't work properly with Fusion (.i.e. X-Surf), and both the Amiga and the Mac to share the link. It must be noted that Genesis does not do NAT, and what you are doing is creating a whole new subnet on your existing network for the emulated machine. Once you have completed the setup, you will have multiple IP addresses on your Amiga.

      MAME
      Author: MAME   Date Verified:
MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with a game's data files (ROMs), MAME will more or less faithfully reproduce that game on a PC. MAME can currently emulate over 1500 classic arcade video games from the '70s and '80s. The ROM images that MAME utilizes are "dumped" from arcade games' original circuit-board ROM chips. MAME becomes the ""hardware"" for the games, taking the place of their original CPUs and support chips. Therefore, these games are NOT simulations, but the actual, original games that appeared in arcades.

      Matt Parsons AROS Page
      Author: Matt Parsons   Date Verified:
AROS is an attempt to build from scratch an AmigaOS 3.1 clone. Up to now this has been a slow process, but finally we have a working operating system. There is a whole lot of stuff missing, like networking, sound drivers and things like that, but it does have a simple desktop and a fully functional command line. On an internal level we have followed AmigaOS, except where we can speed things up or make them more modular by using a custom built object oriented system. AmigaOS was really quite object oriented as it is, all we are doing is upgrading the parts Commodore never had time to do. Also our OS is portable across computer platforms.

As Kaillera itself already has proven its merits on emulators such as Mame and Bliss, this was the perfect choice for the development of this program. In this first actual release there is support for (shared) keyboard, mouse , 2 joysticks and upto 8 connected players ; virtually everything you need to play a game.
