Aleph One is an Open Source 3D first-person shooter game, based on the game Marathon 2 by Bungie Software. It supports, but doesn't require, OpenGL for rendering. Aleph One was originally a MacOS-only game, but I'm working on a cross-platform version based on the Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) library, that should eventually run on all systems supported by SDL (Linux, BeOS, Windows, MacOS, Solaris, IRIX, *BSD, and others).

Well, at this moment in time The Dead Walk has not been cancelled, it is still progressing. However it must be said that all programmers and graphic artists now have full time jobs, not in the Amiga industry. That's why its taking an age to produce.

Welcome to the Amiga Games Database. It's purpose is to provide Amiga games players with an informed but subjective opinion on a wide range of games. A vast amount of Amiga titles have been written, some of them more than a decade ago. We've all come across some awful software in our time, but for many of us, there's a surprising quantity of undiscovered classic Amiga games out there. The AGDB is here to help you identify them. Almost 900 reviews!!!

Some of you may be sceptical still as we haven't released any original titles, but we intend to prove ourselves with the release of Deadlock.       GAGE - Golden Amiga Games Encyclopedia
      Author: Dr.Zarkov   Date Verified:
The Golden (or Great, Growing, Glossy, Galvanic ;-) Amiga Games Encyclopedia originally started in AmigaGuide form with the goal to list all Amiga Games that were compatible with AGA and 68020+ Amigas. But, because so much games didn't work on upgraded machines, I (Dr.Zarkov) started testing them with all kind of degrading tools and added this information to the guide. After some time I showed the Guide to a friend who offered to create a website for it. Since that time the GAGE has grown enormously; instead of just sticking to the compatibility information I have added publisher information, cheats, docs, walktroughs and screenshots to all games…

Welcome to Retro Games. Technology improves; graphic engines are getting faster, and programs are getting better. We are here to break that monotony. Retro Games will be producing many games for the Amiga that are basically imitations of programs that have been on Commodore 64 and Atari. The games will be modified so that they will be the way I would have liked to see them. !!NEW!! Retro Games will now be producing one game a month usually just a small old Atari remake. This month it is Phaser Blast, a copy of David Crane's Laser Blast(r), published by Activision(r) in 1982.

SCUMM stands for "Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion". It is an utility used to create the famous LucasArts adventure games. It was initially created in 1987 by Aric Wilmunder and Ron Gilbert for the game "Maniac Manson" and was used later, with some modifications, for Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, Loom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Monkey Island 1,2,3, Sam & max Hit the Road, Day of the Tentacle, The Dig and Full Throttle. ScummVM is an implementation of LucasArts S.C.U.M.M. (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) interpreter, used in games such as Monkey Island and Day Of The Tentacle. It can interpret SCUMM games that use .001 type resources at the time. Some things are still missing such as sound and there are a few bugs. Regardless of the bugs it is still possible to play some games all the way through to the end.

Author: WinUAE - Kaillera   Date Verified:
Play Amiga games over the Internet or LAN! WinUAE-Kaillera enables users of this great emulator to play against another person over a TCP/IP network, such as the internet. For this it uses the Kaillera engine, a program developed specifically for enabling emulators to achieve netplay. As Kaillera itself already has proven its merits on emulators such as Mame and Bliss, this was the perfect choice for the development of this program. In this first actual release there is support for (shared) keyboard, mouse , 2 joysticks and upto 8 connected players ; virtually everything you need to play a game.
