amiwm is an X window manager that tries to make your display look and feel like an Amiga Workbench screen. It is fully functional and can do all the usual window manager stuff, like moving and resizing windows. The purpose of amiwm is to make life more pleasant for Amiga-freaks like myself who has/wants to use UNIX workstations once in a while. It can also be used on the Amiga with the AmiWin X server, although this part needs some more work. |

Buttonbank is another program launch tool for the Amiga. I wrote it as a project to learn programming using AmigaE. I know there are loads of launchers available but I wanted to write one that was easy to use and set up. I, like many other Amiga users do not have graphics cards or expensive monitors that can display flickerless laced screens. |

A freeware UNIX port of a program, is freely available, although it does require use of a CLI (Command Line Interface). I am currently working on my own version, but am struggling with the code for actually downloading the images themselves. Until an answer is found for this, the UNIX port will have to do. Alternativly, the Macintosh software will work with ShapeShifter, but it does need quite a bit of memory to do so, about 25Mb of FAST RAM. |

I didn't like the boring AmigaGuide documents without possibility to include images inside document or to use different fonts in the same node, so I decided to make my own hypertext language and program to view that documents. The name of program was MagicGuide. MagicGuide was MUI application and its hypertext language was very complicated and not very usable. Wwhy not to make MagicGuide's hypertext language compatible with AmigaGuide and then just add new commands for inlined images, fonts etc. The iX-Guide was born. |

StAHG is a simple ReAction based tool created for the purpose of making an Amiga's collection of help files easier to access. Naturally, the first question to come up is, "What help files?" The answer is, "Exactly!" Or, if you prefer, all those Help Files all over your hard drive.. StAHG fixes both problems in one whack. StAHG builds a list of all of the documents found in the "Help:" assign and its subdirectories (.doc, .dok, .txt, .guide), then creates "Workbench.guide" in the propor location to satisfy the requirements for the "undocumented feature." Once run, "Workbench.guide" is available to the OS, and StAHG does not need to be run again (unless you want to update your "Workbench.guide") |

Welcome to the MUI Classes page. I've had this idea for quite a long time now, but I've been too lazy to actually work on it. I mainly set this page up, because on most mailinglists I've been on people were complaining that it's hard to know which versions are the latest of all the MUI classes that's around. I thought I had a pretty up to date system, and with some basic knowledge of HTML, this page was born. I don't claim to have a perfect list of classes, but I do believe in most cases that these are the latest available, except for those cases where there are no archives released, just the .mcc (and the .mcp) in some other archive along with some application. There are also links to the homepage of the author, where I've found one, and it's fairly recent. |

It basically gives you an implementation of the Windows 95/98 ""cut and paste"" facility for managing files on your hard disk. Reqtools.library is a standard Amiga shared, runtime library. The purpose of ReqTools is to make it a lot quicker and easier to build standard requesters into your programs. ReqTools is designed with Commodore's style guidelines in mind, all requesters have the look-and-feel of AmigaDOS Release 2. If you use ReqTools in your programs you do not have to worry about requesters too much. You'll have a lot more time to concentrate on the really important stuff your program does. |

What is Scalos? First of all, Scalos is NOT a replacement OS, although the name suggests otherwise. It is a desktop replacement for the Amiga. Want to see some of the features of Scalos? Simply click here. It is used instead of Workbench or Directory Opus Magellan. The original Workbench gets older every day and is being left behind by other desktop systems. Scalos's original author, Stefan Sommerfeld, decided that there had to be something new, and so Scalos was born. Scalos's goal is to integrate a lot of additional functionality and an enhanced look without losing any of the look-and-feel we all love about the real Workbench. Yes, Scalos is like Directory Opus Magellan, but comparing these two isn't really fair. Scalos provides much better emulation of the real Workbench ("the Workbench experience"), and you won't notice any difference at first appearance. Because of this, we can't include a screenshot (look at your current Workbench for one!). Up to now Directory Opus Magellan just provides more functions. |

The InstallerNG will be an integral part of the new AmigaOS4 and MorphOS. What's this thing about. First, you need an Amiga Computer for this tool. Furthermore, the Amiga must run at least version 2.1+ of the operating system. Every Amiga user knows the Installer tool, distributed with the system. Well, the idea is nice, but the Installer became a pretty old thing during the last years. TUMULT is an acronym for "The unofficial MUI custom class list" and that is exactly the contents of these pages. There are two main purposes for this list. First of all it should make it easier for normal users to find and download needed custom classes and secondly it should provide a quick reference for developers who need a certain custom class. The list will only contain classes which have been registered as described on the registrationpage. This means that the completeness of this list will depend solely on the willingness of all custom class authors. Hopefully you will all support this initiative.
