These pages are dedicated to supporting the Amiga Siamese System developed by Siamese Systems Ltd (previously known as HiQ Ltd). The purpose of these pages are to promote the Siamese System, whilst "telling it like it is". By this I mean no hype, no bullshit - just the facts as I see them. I would like to make it clear that I have no connection with Siamese Systems Ltd, but I simply believe in this excellent product. Unfortunately it seems that Steve has given up on the Amiga market and Paul has lost interest, now concentrating his efforts on Photogenics 4.x.

      ARTAS
Author: M.Albrecht and T.Wenzel   Date Verified:
ARTAS is both a concept and a system component. It allows applications to use "any" kind of data is their input and output without knowing about the contents or structure of the data stream. Parsing and interpreting of data contents is done by external modules called "driver modules". Each stream can be divided, mixed, time-synced etc by attaching "codecs" and "plugins" to it. ARTAS deals with Audio, Video, MPEG and any other kind of data that links an abritary number of data blocks.

PGP for the Amiga info page
Author: Robert A. Knop Jr   Date Verified:
PGP stands for "Pretty Good Privacy," and it is a public key encryption program. Public key encryption is a scheme where any message encrypted with public key X can only be decrypted with secret key X. In conventional cryptography, one key (or password) is used to both encrypt and decrypt a message. This has the problem that you need a secure channel over which to communicate the password before you can send encrypted messages over an insecure channel. With public key encryption, you publish your public key as widely as possible, and keep a tight reign on your secret key. That way, anybody with your public key can write a message that only you can decrypt, since only you have your secret key.

System-X is a highly stable new BBS-System for the Amiga. A lot of it works like AmiExpress, which has been a worldwide used BBS-System in the past. However, System-X is not built from AmiExpress' source-code, like some other BBS-Systems. System-X has many features which make it a brilliant piece of software: It can handle up to 7 doortypes: AmiExpress (XIM), AmiExpress REXX (AIM), DayDream, DayDream REXX, Paragon/MAXsBBS, Shell/DOS/STDIO. Up to 256 conferences. Up to 256 fileareas per conference. Up to 500 messagebases per conference. And MUCH MORE!!!

      The DDLI Page
      Author: Fergus Duniho   Date Verified:
DDLI stands for the "Duniho and Duniho Life Pattern Indicator." It is a computer program that measures for the same 16 psychological types as the Keirsey-Bates Temperament Sorter and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. The DDLI asks you a series of questions in order to determine your life pattern. Besides asking questions about E-I, S-N, T-F and J-P preferences, as the MBTI and KBTS do, it also cross-checks by asking questions on IS-ES, IN-EN, IF-EF, IT-ET and Rational-Arational preferences.

      Wave Beast
      Author: Jan.Krutisch   Date Verified:
****This is the official announce of the death of the development of wavebeast. I simply can't find the neccessary time to develop such a "huge" program in a serious approach. *** WaveBeast is a Software Synthesizer for the Amiga computer. it simulates a descent Analogue Synthesizer by using state-of-the-art dsp algorhythms. since WaveBeast doesn't even try to be "realtime", all algorhythms are optimized for quality, not for speed.
