Welcome to the homepage of the C64/128 magazine with disk by the CSW publishing house. Update on the English Go64! editorial staff. At the end of January 2002, we have built up a mailinglist for the new Commodore World/Go64! editorial staff. About 20 volunteers intend to bring up the new CW/Go64!-Magazine. If you want to join us, you may contact us here. From now on, we try to put a new editorial staff together which will act as something like a "autonomous" part of the Go64! and will edit and layout the magazine on its own (with the help of the German team, of course). |

16/32 are one of the oldest Atari supporting companies around since 1991. We started with a PD Library and grew into a full time retail outlet supporting Atari, Amiga and PC. Now I have gone back to my roots and will keep supporting Atari whilst I work at my new job. This web site is divided in to 2 parts;
1). This area will be a general resource and information about Atari, Amiga and in general. Divided in 3 parts each ill contain links and info on all types of subjects 2). The Sales Catalogue. This is available through the links in each section but they go to a Online Web Sales Area (which again is still progressing). The catalogue is a programmed using Actinic which seems very easy to use... I hope. It is fully functional but you can obviously check by email or phone. Any credit card transfer is secured through Actinic 128bit protection and Zen. |

Welcome to Commodore's Amiga UNIX Community. Created to share experiences with the Amiga UNIX Operating System. This site has been created with two objectives: 1. To salvage Commodore's Amiga Unix Operating System. 2. To exchange information about the installation and operation of Amiga UNIX.. We can talk about the other versions (LINUX and NetBSD) of UNIX for the Amiga but that would be at a later date. So, I hope we all have fun bringing back this great operating system to work, at least for us. GREAT!!!! |

Welcome to amithlon.net. This is the website of the main Amithlon author. Here you will find all sorts of up-to-date news, as well as answers to hopefully all of your Amithlon questions. Amithlon is a low-level Amiga emulator for current x86 PCs. It provides very high performance CPU emulation, as well as a translation layer that lets AmigaOS use common PC hardware without the usual drawbacks of emulators. The philosophy behind the development of Amithlon was not to create an Amiga emulator that runs on top of some PC OS, but to turn a current PC into an Amiga. With Amithlon, AmigaOS is in the driver's seat, and directly controls all the hardware. |

Austex Software was formed in 1990 by Stephen J.Smith and Paul N.Goulding. As Amiga fans, they started writing demos and software for this platform. Since then, Austex Software have been developing hardware and software for a new computer platform. The Nueron designs are based on Motorola ColdFire processors and include PAD (Personal Access Devices) and embedded microcontrollers. The operating system, NuOS, is free for use with ColdFire processors. The main purpose at this time, is to drive Nueron systems. |

AROS is an attempt to build from scratch an AmigaOS 3.1 clone. Up to now this has been a slow process, but finally we have a working operating system. There is a whole lot of stuff missing, like networking, sound drivers and things like that, but it does have a simple desktop and a fully functional command line. On an internal level we have followed AmigaOS, except where we can speed things up or make them more modular by using a custom built object oriented system. AmigaOS was really quite object oriented as it is, all we are doing is upgrading the parts Commodore never had time to do. Also our OS is portable across computer platforms. |

MenuetOS is a cool OS written fully in 32 bit assembler. Thats why it's so fast and small. Menuet kernel with all applications fits a single 1.44 Mb floppy. But it is quite useable. MeOS supports 44 KHz stereo sound, 32-bit graphics up to 1280x1024, has quite good UI with mouse support. |

MENUETOS is a new open source 32 bit multitasking GUI operating system by Ville Mikael Turjanmaa, designed for Intel x86 compatibles. It is very small, it fits on one 1.44 MB floppy disk. It is work in progress right now and not every piece of hardware is supported by now. However, it features an assembler IDE including a MENUETOS port of the famous Flat Assembler FASM. I use this page to release the things I've made for MENUETOS. Not a big lot ATM. FASM Projects I have made for the MENUET operating system: 3D maze and 3D engine. |

NetBSD/amiga is the port of NetBSD to the Amiga line of personal computers by Commodore and Amiga International, and to the DraCo by MacroSystem GmbH. Development activity on NetBSD/amiga continues at a speed dependent on people's spare time. Currently, NetBSD/amiga runs on any Amiga that has a Motorola 68020 or better CPU with some form of MMU, and on 68060 DraCos. For 68020 and 68030 systems, a FPU is recommended but not required. 68LC040, 68040V and 68LC060 systems don't work correctly at the moment. |

This site has been established as a central resource for all our developers, and to serve as the voice of the Phoenix Developer Consortium. Our intention is to establish a migration path to a new computing experience. By clearly defining the standards and specifications that Phoenix hardware and software developers will be using, we provide a common basis for individual members to proceed with their own development strategies. The Phoenix Developer Consortium is a meeting place and a tool for developers. It is dedicated to the purpose of allowing developers to work together to make the best use of the immense amount of talent wasted in today's computing world. No single developer can do all things well. Phoenix serves as a repository for common standards and methods, and as a source for code distribution. Phoenix provides legal, financial, and other services to developers at a low rate by obtaining these services in quantity. In short, Phoenix provides the means for developers to bring their product from initial conception all the way to the final package on the store shelves. |

Introduction - This document set explains how to install and setup RedHat m68k Linux on your Amiga. I assume you have some experience with Linux, otherwise I recommend that you purchase any of the books written for newcomers to Linux- there are dozens of such books, most are very thick and include an (intel) Linux CDROM that doubles as a convenient drink coaster. If you are new to Linux, please take a few moments to browse the entire contents of this document set before charging into the install process. By doing so you will save yourself a lot of time and trouble. |

- A multi-platform C64 music player and SID chip emulator - Basically, SIDPLAY [1] is just an ordinary music player software. More specifically, SIDPLAY emulates the Sound Interface Device chip (MOS 6581, commonly called SID) and the Micro Processor Unit (MOS 6510) of the Commodore 64 [2] on your computer. It is a platform independent software which emulates these hardware components. Therefore it is able to load and execute C64 machine code programs which produce music or sound. In general these are independent fragments of code and data which have been ripped from games and demonstration programs and have been transferred directly from the C64. For the Amiga, BeOS, OS/2 Warp, win. Mac, Linux and others. |

About UADE: UADE plays old Amiga tunes through UAE emulation and cloned m68k-assembler Eagleplayer API. UADE is Open Source compatible with Free Software definition. UADE is licensed with GNU GPL. This software would not have been possible for us to produce without the great Free Software model which allowed us to make use of years of hard work of the UAE team. Most of the thanks goes to their pioneering work to build the necessary infrastructure, especially Bernd Schmidt, the initiator of UAE project. |

For the past 15 months we have been working on getting BeOS back on track, and back to what it was intended to be: an operating system for desktop computers. An operating system like OS/2, Linux and Windows, not only a tool for development studies or just a professional system running a few tasks. We're talking about a system that's useable by both beginners and professionals alike. It simply means that yellowTAB intend to trace back the roots of BeOS. |
